Job Description

The Opportunity:

Avantor is looking for a Senior SAP Commerce Cloud Developer to design, develop, and implement high-quality, efficient, and scalable code for Avantor's e-commerce websites using SAP Commerce Cloud, Spartacus, and Solr search. Customize and extend SAP Spartacus capabilities to meet unique requirements. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to design and integrate commerce solutions. Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost-effective and meet user requirements. Configure system settings and options, plan and complete unit, integration, and acceptance testing, and create specifications for systems.

What we're looking for
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Demonstrable experience (5+ years) and in-depth knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), Spartacus, Solr search, and their related technologies.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring framework, and web development technologies.
  • Experience with RESTful web services, APIs, and Spartacus components.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Superb communication and teamwork abilities.
  • SAP Commerce Cloud and Solr search certification is a plus.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain SAP Commerce Cloud solutions with a focus on Spartacus storefronts and Solr search integration.
  • Customize and extend SAP Spartacus capabilities to meet the unique requirements.
  • Develop and implement high-quality, efficient, and scalable code for e-commerce websites using SAP Commerce Cloud, Spartacus, and Solr search.
  • Configure and optimize Solr search functionality to enhance the search and product discovery experience for users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs in Spartacus and Solr search components.
  • Ensure practices and coding standards are followed to optimize performance and maintainability.
  • Integrate SAP Commerce Cloud with other enterprise systems and third-party applications, with an emphasis on Solr search compatibility.
  • Stay updated on the latest SAP Commerce Cloud, Spartacus, and Solr search trends and technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements.

Pay Transparency:

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$99,000.00 - $164,000.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
