The Talent Acquisition Operations Manager is a strategic business partner, leading talent acquisition program initiatives in support of organizational talent acquisition goals and objectives. This is a high impact role responsible for developing and implementing talent acquisition programs, tools, systems, and processes that drive a strong pipeline of ready, capable talent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for improving, developing and deploying talent acquisition solutions, across the enterprise including agency, immigration, candidate marketing, university relations, HRIS processes and implementation.
  • Provide direct oversight and management responsibility for talent acquisition programs and work streams.
  • Research, identify and incorporate external leading best practices, innovations, and trends into design of talent acquisition and organizational effectiveness solutions where appropriate. Recommend strategies to address gaps. Develop flexible, scalable processes which streamline and simplify the candidate and hiring manager experience, removing blockers where possible.
  • Support Workday implementation by leading and optimizing integration of talent acquisition programs and processes with a focus on candidate and employee user experience and developing reports and to aid in decision making. Act as the voice of the TA team and Point of Contact for the HCM development team, adopting an iterative approach to development of TA systems.
  • Build strong relationships across vendor partners to stay ahead of market trends and assess Return on Investment (ROI). Manage 3rd party suppliers including participating in contract discussions, ensuring adherence to our new supplier onboarding processes and monitoring performance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and the go-to person for TA and HR team on all recruitment operational matters. Partner with the HR Business Partner team to execute talent acquisition programs.
  • Optimize talent acquisition programs by assessing program strengths, identifying areas of improvement, determining key requirements, evaluating risks and opportunities, gathering data and feedback, and enhancing processes.
  • Manage multiple projects across cross-functional teams and external vendors by working closely with project sponsors, project team members, and project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing in support of initiatives, and provide feedback for key stakeholders.
  • Ensure all talent acquisition programs are inclusive and aligned with the Generac DE&I and Our People strategies by working closely with leader and key stakeholders.
  • Work with the Analytics Team and other internal resources to provide insightful data and analytics from the HCM.
  • Designs and directs the work of the Operations Team. Selects, coaches, and develops staff. Sets clear expectations to inspire and motivate the team. Manages performance by recognizing achievement, providing feedback, and administering progressive discipline when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent
  • 7 years of business experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources in a corporate environment
  • 5 years demonstrated program management skills related to HR / Talent Acquisition cycle
  • Prior project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global, matrixed organization to develop and deliver Talent Acquisition and/or development programs.

  • Sense of urgency and ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, effective internal customer/business partner relationships

  • Experience collaborating with cross functional teams to identify scalable solutions and set objectives
  • Ability to demonstrate strong business acumen in strategy, industry trends and best practices
  • Innovative and proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise integrity and sound judgment in complex and ambiguous situations
  • Demonstrated project management knowledge and skills to effectively lead and implement programs and processes.
  • Strength in reporting metrics/data analytics
  • Experience with HR processes and systems (such as Workday, etc.) and SAP or equivalent ERP
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint)
