The General Labor position's primary duties include safely performing a wide range of tasks that include operating industrial machinery, sorting and stacking corrugated products, conducting quality checks, performing machine set-up and cleaning, and maintaining a clean and organized work space. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, must be able to work in a very fast-paced environment, have a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operate complex machinery. Must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

The ability to operate a variety of manufacturing equipment from flexo-folder gluers, rotary and flat bed die-cutting machines, a corrugator, and specialty labeling and folder/gluing machines.
• An understanding of reading specification documents, and you must be able to follow specific directions.
• Familiarity with power hand tool operation.
• To be able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• To maintain a clean work environment.
• Familiarity with reading a tape measure to the 16th of an inch, as well as have basic math skills such as the ability to reduce fractions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Physical strength enough to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds, navigate stairs/ladders, stand, walk, bend and kneel throughout the shift.

To qualify for this position, candidates must have:

• High school or technical diploma, or the equivalent.
• Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• The ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical.
• Previous manufacturing/factory experience is a plus.
