Machine Operator - 1st or 2nd shift

Job Description
Our client, located in Milwaukee, is looking for individuals that have previous machine operating experience, preferably someone who has experience in the metal or plastic industry.

This is the opportunity for you! We are looking for individuals who are interested in working 1st shift hours from 6:30am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday.
2nd shift hours from 2:30pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday.
$18/hr-$19/hr

Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Work in a machine cell and will train on various forming machines and punch presses, automatic welding machines, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment
- Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
- Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
- Housekeeping and sanitation
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 50lbs
- Team player
- Mechanically inclined
- Prior punch press or related metal stamping or forming machine operation helpful
- Must be okay with a noisy environment
- Steel Toe shoes are required
