How you will contribute:

If you relish the idea of directly and visibly contributing to the efficiency of the company, solving business problems using technology, and want to be able to design and build the full application system stack, this is the job for you. The Ahern Software Engineer will create software that could be browser based, iOS mobile, or desktop, depending on the specific business need, and then work with a team to create the data access layer, test and deploy the new app. Provided with a set of business requirements and wireframe mockups, this role will perform the technical design, development, and developer testing of apps that integrate with other back-office systems. Additionally, the person in this position will provide the web-service expertise and development skills needed to create integrations with external applications.Second-level support of the created applications is also a component of the role.

What you need to qualify:

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, a minimum of five years of prior experience developing business applications and creating the database tables required. While not mandatory, we highly value candidates with proficiency in the following technologies: C#, .NET Core, Angular, SQL, Typescript, and Javascript. Experience in these areas will be considered an asset and may contribute to a candidate's suitability for the roleCandidates must be comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a high functioning team to accomplish goals.
