Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 40 hours/week. 8-hour day shifts scheduled Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

We are seeking a Pedorthist to:

  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to determine optimal treatment plan and selects appropriate foot orthoses and pedorthic footwear in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Design, fabricate, fit and modify foot orthoses and pedorthic footwear.
  • Work within the context of patient- and family- centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center.
  • Seek continual learning opportunities to advance one's own practice and educate others.

Education:

Minimum -

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an American Board of Certification accredited Residency.

Work Experience:

Minimum -Prior healthcare experience

Preferred -Two (2) years of experience as a Pedorthist.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Certification or eligible for certification by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics as a Certified Pedorthist
