Compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards/requirement, as well as all MATC policies and procedures.
Required Education & Experience:
Associate Degree or a minimum of 60 credits in criminal justice or related field AND five (5) years of law enforcement/public safety experience (preferably some in a metropolitan area).
Preferred Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Police Science or Criminal Justice or related field AND more than five (5) years of law enforcement/public safety experience (preferably some in a metropolitan area).
Required License/Certification: CPR; First Aid; AED certification with 60 days of employment.
Preferred License/Certification: Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board (LESB) certification as a Wisconsin Peace Officer or similar law enforcement certification (must be attainable) highly desirable. Possesses or is eligible to possess a firearms permit from the State of Wisconsin's Department of Regulations and Licensing. Licensing is required within 90 days of employment.

Salary/hourly rate is listed to the midpoint of the salary range and is based on the 2023/2024 rates and are determined by years of experience credit and internal salary equity.
