Kenosha Walk in Clinic, Mid-shift full-time, and part-time roles available **

** Are you looking for additional income and have a passion to work with children and families?

** Do you want to maintain your social work skills, while still having work/life balance?

** If so, this position can offer you the flexibility in scheduling you might be looking for!

  • This clinic is open from 1:00pm to 6:30pm Monday through Friday (closed weekends and major holidays). Ideal candidate could commit to a minimum of 4 hours; part-time hours can be flexible.
  • The ideal work hours are 1.0 FTE, fulltime from 11 or 1130a-8pm (lunch 30 minutes); or the candidate could work a part-time, benefit eligible, .5FTE. The work hours would be 2 days/week 11:30am-8:00pm; and 3 days/week the following week, 11:30am-8:00pm. Leaders are open to discuss the options for the work hours to fit the candidates scheduling needs.
  • The position will mainly provide in-person psychosocial social work assessments while working with a multi-disciplinary team. Develop a plan of care that will empower the patients/families to achieve optimal psychosocial functioning.
  • The position is eligible for a bonus! Paid each pay period based on the shift you decide to work.

Position Requirements:

  • Master of Social Work (MSW) and Wisconsin APSW certification/licensure required.
  • Minimum of one year of social work or related field experience. Hospital experience preferred.
  • Crisis intervention and basic counseling skills.
  • Experience with the social, psychological and economic issues of children/families with severe, acute or chronic illness/disability preferred.
  • Knowledge of structure of the child welfare system, guardianship process and community pediatric resources preferred.
  • Knowledge of team process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills and the ability to learn the CHHS database and electronic medical records, email and pager system.
  • Ability to function independently, prioritize and manage time.
