Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the real estate research of Company and public records to determine ownership of property or prior rights, review and interpretation of engineering drawings and site plans; review of legal descriptions; preparation of easement documents; review, tracking and processing of easement documents to comply with corporate policy and state law. This position will work in support and collaboration with Land Representatives and Research Specialist.

Research public and Company resources to determine ownership and condition of title or to locate existing easements.

Utilize working knowledge of real estate law along with engineering knowledge in applying solutions to company acquisition projects.


Qualifications

Must have a valid drivers license.

Must have excellent oral and written skills.

Must be proficient in Microsoft office as well as leveraging computer to catalogue work product.

Excellent organization, documentation, attention to detail and time management and work management skills.

Critical thinking and decision making skills to avoid and overcome obstacles on difficult assignments as well as make suggestions to resolve title clouds.

Associate Title Agent - Associates Degree in Business, Survey, Real Estate, Law or related field; OR 1 year of work related experience in lieu of a degree.

Title Agent I - Associates Degree in Business, Survey, Real Estate, Law or related field; or Paralegal Certification with 1 year of work related experience; OR 3 years of work related experience in lieu of a degree.

Title Agent II - Associates Degree in Business, Survey, Real Estate, Law or related field; or Paralegal Certification with 2 years of work related experience; OR 5 years of work related experience in lieu of a degree.

Senior Title Agent - Associates Degree in Business, Survey, Real Estate, Law or related field; or Paralegal Certification with 4 years of work related experience; OR 7 years of work related experience in lieu of a degree.

Lead Title Agent - Associates Degree in Business, Survey, Real Estate, Law or related field; or with 6 years of work related experience; OR 10 years of work experience in lieu of a degree. Self-motivated and in posession of a strong work ethic.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
