Owens Corning Composite Materials, LLC seeks Senior Engineering Specialist in Toledo, OH / Blythewood, SC to be responsible for Safety, Quality & Productivity improvement by focusing on-Line utilization, process capability and product quality and performing root cause analysis of losses. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: performing a deep dive in chronic process issues and eliminating them from recurring utilizing Root Cause Analysis tools including Causelink; conducting identification of hazards and risk mitigation to improve employee safety through hazard recognition and control specialization; possessing sound knowledge of using Minitab & SAP for data analysis and deriving precise conclusions; conducting project management utilizing tools such as MS Project for completing projects on time and utilizing effective resource utilization; and changing the workplace culture and focus towards continuous improvement and standardization through exposure to TPM methodology. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to worksite.
