Under the supervision of the Dean, Media and Creative Arts, to teach courses in the CSG Program to include, but not limited to: Game Design and Development, Game engine production techniques, and Game Mechanics design. Related duties include participation in department meetings, department functions, advisory committee meetings, curriculum development, staff development, lab maintenance, student advising, student recruitment and retention and other duties as assigned. The incumbent of this position will be required to keep abreast of the current trends and new technology in the field.
Educational Requirements
Must have an Associate Degree or higher in one of the following:
- Computer Science
- Multimedia
- Web Development
- Computer Engineering

Occupational Experience
Must have a minimum of four {4) years of experience in one of the following areas: Game
Animator, Game Programmer, Game Designer, Game Team Leader, Game Producer. Must also have a minimum of two {2) years of experience with Project Management and/or Team Leadership. In
addition, one of the following must be met:
- At least one (1) year must have occurred within the last four (4) years.
- Two (2) years of teaching Computer Science, Multimedia, Web Development, Computer Engineering, Mobile Development, Animation, or Game Development
- Two (2) years of teaching Computer Science, Multimedia, Web Development, Computer Engineering, Mobile Development, Animation, or Game Development - Programming course work at the post-secondary level within the last five (5) years.
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience with Project Management and/or Team Leadership.
- Knowledge or experience with engaged and service learning strongly preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively through both oral and written means.
- Must have knowledge of assessment of student academic achievement techniques.
- Must meet State of Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) instruction certification requirements. WTCS Certification Requirements Summary
- Must meet Higher Learning Commission (HLC) standards (if applicable).
- Must be able to relate successfully with students and staff of diverse cultural, social and educational backgrounds.
