This position promotes the patient care philosophy and objectives of the professional practice governance members by subscribing to and supporting CHW standards of care through the coordination of patient care activities. Acts as an active member of the leadership team to support the care management model, CHW scope and standards of pediatric clinical nursing practice, legal regulations, CHW Code of Ethics and hospital policies. Works toward achieving ongoing development of leadership skills and participates in professional activities to stay current in relevant area of clinical practice. Facilitates the development and engagement of professional and technical personnel (registered nurses, graduate nurses, nurse interns, technicians, unit secretaries) providing patient care.
