Resident Care Assistant | Part Time 

Schedule: 
  • 8-hour shift, 1st(6:00am-2:30pm), 2nd (2:00pm-10:30pm), 3rd shift(10:00pm-6:30am)., Monday through Friday; rotating weekends

Responsibilities
  • Document and communicate resident concerns and changes in their condition to the nurse on duty
  • Provide Activities of Daily Living (ADL) cares for residents in a Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) to include: dressing and undressing/setting out clothes; bathing; grooming and hygiene/toileting, depends, etc.; wake up calls; making or opening a bed; changing and washing bed linens when needed; light housekeeping; transportation to meals within building; assistance in dining room as needed
  • The RCA position is responsible for safeguarding each resident’s right to privacy, confidentiality, and human dignity
Certification/Training
Candidates with CBRF training is preferred, but we will certify and train the right person. CBRF certification and training Includes:
  • Standard precautions
  • First aid and choking
  • Fire safety
  • Medication administration.
  • Resident rights, challenging behaviors, client group specific
