Work Schedule: Up to 19 hours weekly, in-person. Part-Time Hours vary based on departmental needs.

Job Summary: Develops and teaches concepts and strategies for a variety of courses. May require teaching courses at MATC campuses, business, community, other sites, and online during the day, evening, and/or weekend. Related duties include participation in department and advisory meetings, department and college functions, course and curriculum development in both traditional and non-traditional formats, online courses, staff development, conduct open labs (if/when necessary), student advising, student outcome assessment and quality review assessment and implementation, student organization involvement, recruitment and retention of students, and other duties as assigned**. Required to keep current with the latest trends and technologies in discipline.
**Part-time faculty are encouraged, but not required.
Educational Experience:
Must have an Associate degree or higher in nursing.
Occupational Experience:
Preferred:
1. At least one (1) year of work experience must have occurred within the last five (5) years
OR
2. Two (2) years of teaching Nursing or Nursing Assistant coursework within the last five (5) years.
Industry or vendor certification:
Must have completed or have the ability to complete a CNA Train-the-Trainer course approved by the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services. CNA Train-the-Trainer may be waived if the candidate holds a Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN).
Licensure:
Must hold a current unencumbered (good standing) license as a registered nurse by the State of Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
Start Date: Salary is listed to the midpoint of the salary range and is based on the 2023/2024 rates and are determined by years of experience credit and internal salary equity.
