Dewberry has an excellent career opportunity available for a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer in our Raleigh or Charlotte, NC office. The Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting our team on water and wastewater design projects for public and private sector clients.

Responsibilities
    Planning and modeling of water and wastewater treatment system.
  • Design of water and wastewater processes
  • Developing opinions of probable project cost.
  • Coordinating design with other design disciplines.
  • Conducting process and equipment sizing calculations. Selecting and specifying process equipment.
  • Developing design drawings and specifications.
  • Visit clients, job-sites and consultant offices as needed to support project needs.
  • Collaborating and assist PM with managing design teams in aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
  • Meet client deadlines and project budgets.
Required Skills & Required Experience
  • BS. Degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
  • MS. degree in Environmental Engineering (preferred, not required).
  • 5-8years' experience with progressive responsibilities
  • PE (NC or ability to obtain NC with comity).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and county/agency review staff.
