As a highly trained professional, you will help prepare patients and operating rooms for surgery, and serve as an extra set of hands during surgical procedures. If this type of team work sounds intriguing to you, then we want to see you apply today!

Prepares for surgical procedures and assists surgeons by passing instruments and supplies, holding retractor and anticipating needs during surgical procedures. Assists with orientation of new personnel to the scrubbing role.

  • Completion of one year coursework in an operating room technician program or equivalent experience may also be considered.

  • One year OR Technician experience preferred.

  • Ability to rotate shifts and / or work flexible hours to meet patient care needs.

  • Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.

  • Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact effectively with interdisciplinary health team members and consumers.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time for up to 85% of work time, and lift and move large pieces of equipment weighing up to 60 pounds.

  • The ability to represent the organization and serve consumers in a professional manner and promote a positive image of the organization and its services.

Hours: Saturday and Sunday 6:50am-7:20pm
