Job Description

We Are Hiring:Certified Nursing Assistant/Health Unit Coordinator- Inpatient Oncology- 0.6 FTE- 12 Hour NOC Shift

The Inpatient Oncology unit is an 18 bed unit providing patient and family centered nursing care, support and education for the oncology/hematology/end-of-life, thoracic oncology patient and their families that is interdisciplinary and holistic; including mind, body, and spirit along their care continuum. Nursing works collaboratively with our physician and ANP partners. The unit is supported by 35 staff including 20 RN's, 11 Certified Nursing Assistants and 3 Health Unit Coordinators, Staff Development Specialist, Advance Practice RN and Patient Care Manager. Frequent procedures include administration of chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, IV fluids, growth factors, IV insertion and management including port access.

Shift Details: 0.6 FTE, 12 Hour Nights. Hours 7pm-730am. Every other weekend, holiday rotation. Must be able to work some Monday- Friday shifts.

Starting from $18.00/hr (increases with expereince)

What You Will Do:

We are currently searching for a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide supportto the staff and patients on the unit. Qualified candidates will work independentlyproviding resource information and general nursing care to patients.Completes clerical tasks related to regulatory annual requirements, audits and patient processes.

What You Will Need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • WI Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) - active or exipred on registry
  • Must have a strong interest in customer service, able to multi task, work independently with littlesupervision.
  • Passionate about providing excellent patient care and able to demonstrate compassion at the end of life.
