Calling all extroverted engineers! Do you have a passion for sales and engineering? We have a role for you! Check out our Market Sales Manager - Museum opening on our Major Projects team.

A day in life:

  • Become a product expert in the Museum market by thoroughly understanding features and benefits of our products and competitor products; knowing applications for our products relative to the Museum market; and possessing the ability to train others on both product and application.
  • Maximize Museum market product sales and profitability through representative training, sales calls, AC Sales meetings (whenever in an AC's territory), major project involvement, major account, and representative development as well as new vertical market partnership development.
  • Work closely with and act as consultant between end user and Spacesaver to promote Spacesaver's product offering to deliver a preferred solution for the Customer. This includes collaborating with our internal engineering teams on custom solutions and engineered-to-order products to meet the customer's needs.
  • Develop sales strategy on individual opportunities to ensure product, price and customer solution are positioned to win.
  • Support the field sales force as needed with strategies to win key projects, including but not limited to in-field sales calls, product training, and customer presentations

Required Skills

What are we looking for?

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, sales, or 4 - 7 years of sales and/or sales leadership experience. Knowledge of Engineering or Construction Management related fields is preferred.

* Must have demonstrated capability of managing through complex and longer selling cycles. Individual will be results driven with the proven ability to guide complicated sales engagements through sales funnel.

* Proven ability to be successful in the manufacturer-distributor dynamic.

* Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and proficiency in Sales Force software.

* Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with small and large groups. Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations.

* Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.

* Proficient in working with architectural floor plans/drawings, technical specifications, contract interpretation, mechanical concepts, and basic understanding of construction and construction methods.
