We Are Hiring:Clinical Dietitian I - Medical Oncology - Pool, As Needed

Outpatient medical oncology is a busy department with patients being seen in clinic by a provider, either a Medical Oncologist or Nurse Practitioner. In addition we provide infusion services which may include chemotherapy, blood transfusions, or other IV therapies. Our clinic staff is made up of Nationally Certified Oncology RN's, Oncology Nurse Navigators, LPN's and secretarial staff to take care of patient needs.

Schedule Details:There are variable hours available, normal hours are 8-4:30pm. This position will cover for team member vacation and LOAs; and will fill in as needed for high volumes schedules, etc.

From:$25.32 per hour

What You Will Do:

The Clinical Dietitian at UW Cancer Center at ProHealth Care within Medical Oncology collaborates with members of the health care team to provide medical nutrition therapy through assessment of nutrient requirements for age and disease specific needs of patients in order to develop and implement the patient's nutrition plan of care. The Dietitian also provides nutrition education to patients and family members.

What You Need:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Registered Dietitian; (State of WI license required within first three months of employment)
  • Must be able to communicate with others, patients and guests through a variety of methods such as electronic, phone, using interpretive services and face to face interaction.
  • Experience with oncology patient population highly desirable *CA #LI-MO
