As a 2022 FIS University Program full-time employee, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, professional development seminars and work with a team that is invested in your growth, development, and success; including quarterly performance connects with your manager and bi-annual merit reviews.
This two-year full-time program has start dates in January, March, June, and September with a dedicated "Learning Week" where you will:
Learn how to work within a corporate environment
Learn the structure of FIS and options for growth within the organization
Hear from FIS leadership about their journey and participate in senior leader networking opportunities
Build a network of your peers from across the organization
This position is for a January 2022 start.
About The Team
Candidates will be joining as a ground floor/initial member of a team dedicated to supporting FIS' multi-cloud management and DevOps orchestration tool in an effort to realize the organizational goal of delivering self-service automation to drive our new Hybrid Cloud platform.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be interacting with Internal Infrastructure and Platform Engineers, Architects, and other SME's
You will be Participating in design meetings to gather technical requirements
Partnering with internal teams to plan, analyze, design, test, and deploy infrastructure expressed as code
Developing workflows for our multi-cloud management and orchestration tool
Opportunity to work with and learn a wide range of technologies, platforms, and disciplines in the IT industry
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree from Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related degree programs
Self-motivated and a willingness to learn
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience programming with Python and PowerShell
A practical understanding of cloud computing and virtual computing technologies
Familiarity with Infrastructure Automation concepts and tools
Familiarity with API Calls
