Description

Hope Residence is a 52-bed intermediate care facility serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities located in Belle Plaine, MN.

Job Description:Our caregivers, Direct Support Professionals (DSP), are the heart and soul of our care community. DSP's on our team provide compassionate care and support to all residents. We're looking for people who want to make a difference in a rewarding job. The right person for this position truly cares about making our community the best home possible for our residents.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities
  • Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
  • Participate in outings and resident activities
  • Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment

Qualifications and skills:

  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team and independently

[Flexible schedules]These can include:

  • full-time day, evening or overnight shifts
  • part-time day or evening shifts
  • weekends only
  • On-Call positions available such as 28 hours a month

Think you might not have enough experience?Don't worry, we will provide on-the-job training. Even if you haven't worked as a caregiver or worked in this type of setting before, we will provide you with all the training you need!

Are you a Certified Nursing Assistant?Hope Residence offers a higher wage to reward you for your experience. This experience will help you in this position and allows you to maintain certification on the Minnesota Registry.
