Position Description

This full-time position offers flexible hours throughout the week, as our operation is 7 days per week. This is an opportunity to have a vital role in our operation. Duties include but are not limited to overseeing dispatch functions for multiple business units and multiple vehicle types, acting as a liaison between sales, customers, and drivers, and working with drivers to confirm routing and times. Additionally, this role is responsible for processing changes/updates to trips, complying with Federal and State DOT requirements, organizing paperwork and filing, and utilizing dispatch systems for operational purposes.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively and well with diverse groups of people, teamwork.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, written and verbal, are preferred.
• Possess strong working knowledge of computers and ability to learn new software programs.
• Prior experience in a dispatching and customer service role preferred.
• Dispatchers must successfully pass a company sponsored pre-employment drug test and background check.
