About The Opportunity
Position Summary
Develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing clients in order to increase revenue. Ensures that organizational goods or services consistently meet client needs. May be responsible for providing sales quotations as well as sustaining and renewing client contracts.

Essential to this Position

The Strategic Account Manager role goes beyond the typical sales role to encompass building long term, strategic relationships with key customers that are mutually beneficial to both companies. The Strategic Account Manager will focus on building trust and sustainable value through the promotion of ORBIS Product Sales and Services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve account goals for sales revenue and margin for ORBIS products and services.
  • Work with strategic customers to develop innovative solutions to address supply chain needs.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) related to the accounts business, product/service needs and markets.
  • Build/maintain long term account relationships based on trust and reliability; Act as liaison between customer and internal team members.
  • Project Manager for all account related activities (Contract Development, Contract Negotiations, New Business Opportunities, Solution Design, etc.)
  • Host weekly/month/quarterly account performance meetings.

Essential for Success:

  • Packaging or 3PL Services Sales background required.
  • Knowledge of Retail Supply Chains for CPG, Big Box, Mass Merchants or Grocery required
  • Results Driven, Technically Astute, Relationship Builder, Project Manager, Negotiator, Collaborator, all describe the successful candidate.
