Job Description

Dave Droegkamp Heating Inc. is a well-established, respected, family-owned and operated heating, air conditioning and sheet metal company. We are located in Hartland Wisconsin and are seeking energetic, customer focused maintenance/service technicians.

Applicants must have some experience working in the residential HVAC trade, preferably in service and maintenance. Applicants must be willing to learn how to properly maintain equipment and systems, including a wide range of system controls, accessories, and IAQ products. Diagnostic and repair experience is a plus.

This position will learn and work on a wide range of residential heating and cooling products across multiple brands including conventional split systems, packaged units, boilers, mini-splits, and system accessories and controls including HRV/ERV, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, UV lights, zoning systems, and communicating thermostats.

Applicants must have exceptional communication and customer service skills. They must also be self-motivated and prove a willingness to learn daily through "hands-on" learning and training. Periodically, applicants will be assigned ongoing and/or additional technical training and may be enrolled in off-site courses at times.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIES

  • Some general HVAC technical knowledge or experience and or related work history.
  • Strong problem solving skills, analytical and related mechanical skills.
  • Excellent customer care and relations skills in addition to projecting a professional, pro-company image at all times.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and customer service environment.
  • Possess and retain a valid driver’s license & acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass and maintain an acceptable background and criminal record check.

$50,000+ per year
