    The Finance Business Partner acts as a strategic business partner to the leaders of the Value Enhancement (VE) organization (includes Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain). As an integral member of the team, the individual will be responsible for influencing decisions regarding business planning, financial forecasting, proactive analysis, and value creation to deliver on organizational growth objectives.

    • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations for improvement to Value Enhancement leaders for decision making purposes.
    • Work closing with cross-functional supply chain team leaders/members to drive and optimize cost savings for the Company.
    • Support in the evaluation of capital projects which includes vetting financial input for appropriation requests and tracking spend vs. budget
    • Partner with VE leadership to manage cost center expenses on a month to month basis to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting. Identifying and communicating all risks and opportunities to the Chief Value Enhancement Officer and Sr. Director / VP FP&A.
    • Partner with Cost Accounting to validate standard costing impacts on bill of material changes for VE projects.
    • Develop and monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.
    • Assists in review of monthly results through financial analysis and effective communication with departmental managers to ensure appropriate variance explanations and expense accruals are captured as needed.
    • Provide management with financial advice and counsel on all pertinent business matters by supplying ongoing, timely, and meaningful financial analysis of actual performance, business plans, and other discreet projects.
    • Ensure application of efficient and effective financial and operating controls within the Company.
    • Guide the development of daily, weekly and monthly reporting packages with timely and easy to understand summaries of financial results.

    Education & Work Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA is a plus
    • 7+ years of experience with at least 5 years of financial management experience

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills capable of interpreting financial implications of strategic decisions.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Ability to prepare and present ad hoc presentations and analyses to senior management.
    • Proven ability to collaborate with cross functional business partners and the ability to influence the outcome of strategic decisions.
    • Exceptional ability to influence without authority.
    • Passion to be an integral partner to the business.
    • Results-oriented to ensure deliverables are submitted in an accurate, complete and timely fashion
    • Strong Excel skills in building working models and business management tools and a solid working knowledge of ERP systems. Cognos Tm1 knowledge is a plus.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, global environment.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
