Job Description

Position Summary-

TIC/A2A Educator will plan, schedule and facilitate internal trauma informed care trainings to professionals and occasional external training as part of the Trauma Informed Care team. The educator will also provide Policy and Procedure training and technical support in collaboration with the A2A Program Coordinator II to agencies in Wisconsin implementing policy and procedure change to prevent child sexual abuse.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, or a related field required.
  • Experience with training, group facilitation, and developing and implementing educational programs with adults or across systems.
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, minimum liability insurance coverage and the ability to be insured by the CHHS auto insurance carrier.
  • Knowledge of, or experience with, diversity and inclusion, trauma informed care or resilience principles.
  • Experience working with families of diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize with attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with professionals and system or community members.
  • Ability to work both independently and in conjunction with a team.
  • Computer skills to perform necessary functions in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Requires flexible schedule with regular evening and weekend work and some travel.
