Job Description:

iCare seeks a self-directed IT intern to assist the IT department with various projects and tasks.

IT Intern Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review Help Desk Tickets and assist in resolving reporting and application issues
  • Help Desk Ticket cleanup/analysis
  • Application maintenance activities - Data Dictionary and Artifacts
  • IT site migrations/SharePoint
  • Assist with preparation for SSRS upgrade; clean up of existing reports and issues mitigation
  • Ad hoc SQL analysis
  • SSIS (for non-time sensitive)
  • Internet/Intranet Web Site updates
  • Documentation
    • EA Model/lists of interfaces to external systems
    • Meta data
    • Mapping
    • Requirements documents
    • Test plans
    • Testing

Experience and Skills:
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems & Technology
  • Minimum GPA 3.0
  • Strong computer skills including a good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong organizational and listening skills
  • Ability to keep track of and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to juggle a high volume of work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and creative thinker
  • Ability to take initiative on multiple projects
