    Quartz’s marketing department is seeking a skilled writer who has demonstrated experience in writing and editing user-friendly copy for customers. This person will be responsible for developing health-related and creative copy. The ideal candidate will have strong informational research skills, health insurance experience and the ability to translate a large quantity of information into succinct, engaging writing in all formats, including print, web and digital.

    • Support efforts in strengthening the recognition, understanding, and brand of the organization through working with individuals from all levels of the organization
    • Provide an expert level of writing advice, consultation and production to the organization in the areas of written materials, communication techniques and material review
    • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications or Marketing
    • 5 - 7 years of related marketing and/or writing experience
    • Experience with executing a company-wide marketing and communications strategy in the as a role of brand steward: ability to communicate the brand through written and verbal communication.
    • Ensure and manage a consistent voice across all stakeholders and communication channels.
    • Demonstrate a high-level competency in written communication, with preference in health insurance communications and within the B2B and B2C audiences.
    • Must demonstrate initiative and persistence for all self-directed responsibilities.
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented approach.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required
    • Health Insurance experience preferred, health industry a must.
