- Processing of department paperwork and correspondence including purchase orders, acknowledgements, and requests for quotes
- Analysis of material requirements per agreed upon schedule
- Review for appropriate action related to exception messages
- Expediting and vendor contact
Position requirements include:
- Previous purchasing experience with raw sheetmetal and other metals
- Fabrication experience
- This is a job shop and the pace is extremely fast paced...need to handle the work environment pace
- This will be a hand-on position in purchasing with the potential of eventually managing the department
