Plastic Inspector
New Berlin, WI / Waukesha, WI / Pewaukee, WI
Job Description
- Review job requirements on production traveler and selects proper inspection tools such as pin gauges, micrometers, calipers, scales, wall thickness gauges, etc.
- Assists setup operators when possible.
- Construct quality assurance chart by entering the correct customer and product information.
- Inspect extruded products wall thickness, length, roundness, and color specifications in accordance with standard inspection procedures.
- Notify extruder operator when measurements of product are not correct.
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Maintain work on schedule
Previous plastics experience a plus!
