POSITION – HVAC Technician
JOB LOCATION – Eau Claire, Wisconsin
STARTING DATE – Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Direct Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 3rd Shift, Rotating 5/4 schedule (6:00pm – 6:00am)
STARTING PAY – $18.00-$22.00/hour
BENEFITS – Benefits start upon date of hire, including medical, dental, paid time off, and more! This position qualifies for a $1,000 sign-on bonus as well!
REQUIRED EDUCATION – Two year technical degree specializing in Industrial commercial HVAC Systems
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 2+ years HVAC experience preferred
 
While working as an HVAC Technician you will be working in an industrial setting to troubleshoot and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, water chillers, supply fans, air units, steam and water boilers, air compressors, water systems and all electrical and pneumatic controls. You will work closely with Engineering and Project Leaders.
 
Responsibilities:
- Anticipate needed repairs and take appropriate action to trouble-shoot and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment to minimize disruption to manufacturing and facility. Equipment includes water chillers, supply fans, make-up air units, steam and water boilers, air compressors, water systems (Well, soft, RO, DI) and all electrical and pneumatic controls.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks and fixed interval repairs to reduce maintenance costs and equipment downtime to improve equipment reliability.
- Modify existing equipment or systems to accommodate changing requirements in manufacturing and facilities maintenance. Assemble and install equipment and/or controls to meet manufacturer’s and HTI’s specifications.
- Work with Engineering/Project leaders on new equipment/processes that require HVAC/Utilities support to ensure adequate equipment is implemented.
- Interpret detailed drawings/prints, operation/installation manuals and wiring schematics to install, maintain and repair equipment.
- Oversee contractors on new installations or existing equipment modifications by monitoring and verifying the quality of work.
- Program and design graphics on Building Management Systems to control and monitor all HVAC equipment and environmental systems.
 
Qualifications:
- Two year technical degree specializing in Industrial Commercial HVAC systems with 2 + years experience preferred.
- EPA Refrigeration Universal license preferred.
- Familiarity with Siemens Building Automation Systems.
- Knowledgeable in all phases of the HVAC field. Ability to interpret Building Management System and react to the immediate needs of the facility or manufacturing.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and convey all information to peers and others involved in installations, maintenance and repairs.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
