Job Title: Technical Writer 10627
Duration: 6-12 months
Hours: 8:00a-4:00p
Location: Milwaukee, WI 53235
Dress Code/Required PPE: Business casual, closed toe shoes, steel toed boots required for shop floor work
Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma
Additional Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
College degree
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Technical writer to create, revise, and update documents related to a shop floor technical training program. Documents to include technical assessments, standard operating procedures, training program elements, and troubleshooting guides.
- Experience in operations, shop floor production
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (2-4 years writing experience)
- Ability to collaborate with local and regional subject matter experts and interview plant employees to support creation of documents
Other Required Experience/Qualifications:
- Ability to travel to multiple sites to support the regional initiative (probable 4 trips within 6 months or ~15% travel) [depends on home location]
Candidate must clear the following:
- HireRight background check

- Lifting Assessment
- Mobility Assessment
