Job Description

Timber Creek, an FCA Packaging Brand, is adding a Inside Sales Representative to our Sales and Customer Service Department. We are looking for a hardworking individual who is driven to achieve. The right candidate will be working with some of our top customers and be one of the primary points of contact for customer orders, design changes and service.

Timber Creek was recently acquired by FCA Packaging, creating a new Company, Timber Creek, an FCA Packaging Brand. Timber Creek specifically is a custom wood packaging manufacturing company based in Milwaukee, WI. With 400+ employees, integrated sawmills and multiple production facilities in Wisconsin, New York and Tennessee, we are one of the largest wood packaging solution providers in the Midwest.

Summary

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing the best possible service to the organization's customers by addressing and resolving customer inquiries and problems, processing orders, preparing services orders, tracking quotes, and resolving billing issues. They work closely with the sales team to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded. They are always expected to model professional behavior.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Enter new orders into TCM by following a pre-determined process, ensuring the system generates an acknowledgement of order within 24 hours.

2. Check customer purchase orders for current pricing and escalate differences to outside sales or management, as necessary.

3. Ensure invoicing is completed timely and accurately.

4. Provide excellent customer service to existing customer base, thus maintaining and improving business relationships.

5. Successfully communicate customer needs with production facilities and adjust customer expectations, as necessary.

6. Monitor Open orders weekly.

7. Answer Phones as needed.

8. Arrange stock orders as needed.

9. Maintain cooperative working relationship with leaders and collaborate on problem solving.

Education and/or Experience

Requires a high school diploma and one to three years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as open orders, service logs, and procedure manuals. Ability to prepare reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
