We are currently seeking a motivated Sales Executive with a track record of proven sales results in self-insured employee benefits in central to western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota to join our energetic, high performing sales team.
In this sales position, YOU will have the opportunity to develop strong business relationships, selling the best products and service in our self- insured benefits industry. Prairie States provides high level income potential that rewards sales results. The selected individual will work from a remote home office, and this position requires significant travel within the assigned territory.
Qualifications and Responsibilities
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of five years of experience in employee health benefits sales, preferably in the self-funding arena
Proven track record of sales skills and closing ability
Strong relationship-building skills with multiple business partners and organizational levels
Professional-level presentation skills within large group settings and to Senior Management.
Able to work both through broker relationships and directly with targeted business prospects
Able to build and/or maintain relationships with the broker community to position Prairie States as one of their top choices for TPA services
Able to maintain relationships with brokers by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements
Able to maintain relationships with outside vendors
Able to identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
Current Wisconsin and Minnesota state insurance licenses
