Job Description
LAKELAND COLLEGE, an independent liberal arts institution located in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, seeks qualified candidates for the position of Instructional Technologist for Lakeland's evening, weekend, and online programming. Reporting to the Senior Director of Instructional Design, the Instructional Technologist will join a team of cross-functional professionals providing training, consultation, instructional design support, and mentoring in developing interactive, academically rigorous online and BlendEd® courses.  The instructional technologist will also work with the Senior Director to resolve challenges related to technology use in instruction, including assessment, andragogy, deployment methodologies, and integration strategies as well as monitoring current and cutting-edge technology-mediated learning.  Start date is July 1 or later.

A Bachelor's degree is required.  A Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or other education-related field is preferred. Experience specific to higher education and support of faculty, staff, and returning adult students is preferred. Candidates must also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, an enthusiastic team-oriented leadership style, an ability to work independently, and demonstrated competence in a wide-array of instructional technologies. A combination of daytime, evening, and weekend hours is necessary for this position.
