Job Description

LAKELAND COLLEGE, an independent liberal arts institution, seeks a qualified candidate for the above position. Reporting to and under the direct guidance of the Director of Financial Aid, responsibilities will include, configuration and support of all financial aid software which includes PowerFaids, Jenzabar, and Edconnect for a traditional and nontraditional program; customer service for a client base of traditional students; evaluating student financial need according to the federal formula; awarding all sources of financial assistance; and monitor student aid applicants with appropriate follow-up to ensure completion of required documentation; assure compliance in federal regulations.  The candidate will be required to attend professional development and financial aid training programs and possess the ability to present financial aid information at community events to address student/parent questions and concerns. This position is computer based and customer-focused and the candidate must provide flexible scheduling to meet the needs of students. An ability to work in a team environment and be detail conscious is critical.  Other duties and responsibilities to be assigned as needed.
