Job Description
 
LAKELAND COLLEGE is seeking an outstanding individual to lead its athletics department. As an NCAA Division III institution and member of the Northern Athletics Conference, Lakeland offers 18 intercollegiate sport programs. We are seeking a leader who will create a vision and provide leadership for the department; work closely with students, faculty, and staff to maintain excellent intercollegiate athletic and recreational programs that are fully integrated into college life; promote student-athletes’ academic achievement, personal well-being and lifelong development; have an unwavering commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy, rules, and regulations; commit to an environment of integrity, equal opportunity and gender equity; maintain a positive and supportive environment our students, coaches and staff; recruit, develop, and retain coaches and staff; and assure sound financial budget and management practices throughout all athletic activities. The Athletic Director will also be an integral part of the college’s enrollment management, fundraising, and marketing initiatives on behalf of the athletics department. This position will report to the Vice President for Student Development.  
 
A master’s degree is required for consideration.
