Job Description
Lakeland College, a liberal arts institution, invites qualified candidates for the position of Accountant. Reporting directly to the Controller, this position will provide payroll functions for the entire College, including multistate and federal payroll tax compliance. The selected candidate will also provide general accounting duties to include preparing journal entries, reconciling bank accounts, reporting donations, receipting cash, and performing other duties as assigned.
A minimum of an Associate’s degree and 5 plus years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of experience is required. Non-profit accounting, higher education accounting, and/or payroll experience is a plus.
