LAKELAND COLLEGE, an applied liberal arts institution located in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, midway between Milwaukee and Green Bay, seeks qualified candidates for a Graduate Assistant position in the athletic training program. Lakeland College is an NCAA Division III institution offering (18) successful sports programs.
The successful candidate will be a positive role model to our student-athletes, have excellent communication skills, strong time management and organizational skills, and be willing/able to assist with any/all aspects of the athletic training program. Eligible candidates will be assigned a sport based on his/her qualifications. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assessment and immediate care of injuries, providing first aid, advanced rehabilitation, as well as preventative taping and bracing. Applicant must be NATA-BOC certified and have or eligible for WI state license and have current CPR/AED certifications. Must have a bachelor’s degree and acceptance into the graduate school program, along with an acceptable driving record. The position includes a stipend, an off-campus housing allowance, a campus meal plan, and tuition remission for graduate classes. The position will begin August 1, 2013.
