 Generac Power Systems, Inc. is the leader in the power industry.  We are seeking self- starting, enthusiastic individuals to join our team!  These positions are excellent entry level opportunities that provide a path into a variety of progressive sales roles.  Our teams are focused on pro-actively developing a book of existing accounts, business and managing their assigned sales territory.  This position includes a base wage plus unlimited monthly incentive potential.  If you enjoy building relationships, networking and providing exceptional customer service you will thrive in our fast paced, fun and friendly work environment. 

Primary Responsibilities Include:
  • Perform outbound cold calls to domestic and Canadian businesses with the goal of selling those business owners on the idea of partnering with Generac Power Systems for the sale and maintenance of Generac products.
  • Fielding inbound phone calls from businesses interested in partnering with Generac for sales, maintenance and/or service.
  • Building your pipeline of potential dealers following up on the call campaign lists.
  • Utilizing SAP and other related software to maintain and track account progress.
  • Meet daily call volume expectations, ensuring meeting new dealer, revenue and daily call volume goals.
  • Closing on new dealers to achieve quarterly goals.
  • Providing a high quality of service to attain high customer satisfaction.
  • Executes the on-boarding process from start-to-finish establishing new accounts for the Inside Sales Representatives and Territory Development Managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required;
  • 1-2 years of call center, sales, customer service, customer support, or retail experience;
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software;
  • Basic keyboarding skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Strong customer service and telephone skills;
  • Effective organizational and prioritization skills; basic mathematical skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
  • Strong customer orientation;
  • Ability to be reliable and punctual; strong initiative.
  •  Ability to occasionally lift 25 pounds.
