The Affordable Care Act is a U.S. federal statute signed into law by President Barack Obama on March 23, 2010. Most of the major provisions of the Affordable Care Act will be phased in by January 2014. In preparation, Lynn Molitor discusses how employers will be impacted by this law with Ken Marsh and Chad Winters from Infinity Benefit Solutions. In the first part of this two-part episode, the basics of the law are reviewed as well as the definition of full time employees when it comes to health insurance benefits that employers must offer to their employees.
