In July, the Democratic Party will come together to nominate the next President of the United States at the 2020 Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The four-day convention, held July 13th-16th, will celebrate who we are as a country and the values that we stand for as a party. The Convention is the formal nominating event for the Democratic candidates for President of the United States and Vice President of the United States. At the Convention, the Democratic Party also adopts the official Democratic Party platform
Milwaukee’s vibrant history and the determination and optimism of its residents make this city the perfect place to hold our Convention. It’s a city that is working together to create opportunity, to embrace diversity, and innovate to build a better future for every family. The values that are embodied in Wisconsin remind us that Democrats can—and will—fight to protect the values that define us and we can—and will—win those fights.
As we continue our work to build our party’s Convention next July, this website will grow to share our story. Right now, we’re focused on putting the infrastructure in place to recruit thousands of volunteers and hire a team to bring the convention to life. This website is serving as a placeholder, as our team builds the official website for the Convention. Please visit again soon for updates.
We can’t wait to see you in Milwaukee in July, and for the work we will do together we build toward this historic occasion.
