Company Overview

Villa St. Francis is a faith based, non-profit Assisted Living community in Milwaukee. Founded in 1990 by the Felician Sisters, a religious order established in Warsaw, Poland in 1855 to meet the needs of the poor, the orphaned, the sick and the elderly. The Sisters first brought their ministry to Wisconsin in 1874 and have served the Milwaukee community since 1907. Their commitment to service can be found in many places throughout our city—from St. Francis Hospital, which they were instrumental in raising funds for in the 1950s, to the Child Development Center of St. Joseph, an early-education non-profit on Milwaukee’s south side. Today, Villa St. Francis provides a caring, home-like living environment for residents with a variety of care needs.

As a Catholic faith-based community, everything we do is out of respect for the inherent dignity of each person who lives here. Creating a compassionate and reverent environment where all feel welcomed, supported and cared for is at the heart of what we do.

Mission Statement: Villa St. Francis continues the ministry of Jesus by providing person-centered services to meet the contemporary needs of aging individuals and their families.

Core Values: Respect for Human Dignity |  Compassion | Transformation | Solidarity with the Poor | Justice and Peace
