What is BBB? 
Better Business Bureau® Serving Wisconsin is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has a network of over 6,700 accredited businesses throughout the state, who believe and support our mission of helping to foster and ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers can trust each other.  They do so by adhering to our Standards for Trust/Code of Business Practices: build trust, advertise honestly, tell the truth, be transparent, honor promises, and be responsive.  

What we do
Every day we work to create a community of trustworthy businesses, set standards for marketplace trust, encourage and support best practices, celebrate marketplace role models, and denounce substandard marketplace behavior.

The BBB supports the community through our annual Torch Award for Ethics, Spark Awards for Entrepreneurship, and Student of Integrity Scholarships.  We offer education of local and national scams through ScamTraker, group presentations, and free shredding events to help prevent Identity Theft. We act as a neutral third party to help Wisconsin consumers and businesses file complaints, post customer reviews, offer advertising review and help to resolve disputes through arbitration and conciliation.

Better Business Bureau®(BBB) Serving Wisconsin is part of Council of Better Business Bureaus® (CBBB) which is a network hub for BBBs in the US and Canada.  BBB Serving Wisconsin is an independently owned and operated 501 (c)6 non-profit standards based membership organization that incorporated in October 1939.
