Company Overview
“We can't believe it's already been 20 years!" said Bill and Lori Kinas looking back on their purchase of Pollesch-Kinas Excavating, Inc, a sewer and excavating business, from Dennis and Linda Pollesch in March 1994.

Having changed the name of the business to Kinas Excavating in 2004, Bill and Lori Kinas have seen the company grow over the past 20 years, and they have not been alone as 5 of the company's original 7 employees are still on the current thirteen-person
roster today.

A family-run business committed to quality, workmanship, and flawless execution. We treat each job as if we are doing it for ourselves with a team that takes great pride in every project. We dig your business!

Kinas Excavating's equipment fleet has similarly expanded over the past 20 years, starting with 2 dump trucks, 1 dozer, 1 back hoe loader and 2 excavators in 1994 and increasing to 6 dump trucks, 2 off-road haul trucks, 4 dozers, 2 track skid steers and 5 excavators today.

The newer equipment leaves the entire Kinas Excavating crew with very little down time, as customers are served in a timelier and more efficient manner.

As important as their equipment is, however, Bill and Lori Kinas believe their employees, whom they consider family, are the true assets to Kinas Excavating's success. The quality of their workmanship and dedication of each one of them has made Kinas Excavating the success it is today.

In 2008, Bill and Lori's son, Ben, graduated with an Associate Civil Engineering Degree and has joined Kinas Excavating fulltime to assist the company as its project superintendent and estimator, bringing in new skills and ideas, including handling of all GPS estimating. In 2008, Kinas Excavating incorporated GPS guidance technology to their equipment fleet allowing them to grade complex jobs more efficiently
and faster.

Recently, Kinas Excavating also purchased a conveyor truck, which has made placing aggregate, top soil, and sand products more efficient and more precise. Bill and Lori also take pride in their scheduling, going the extra mile to limit the inconvenience caused to customers, such as generally installing a septic system in a day, allowing a home owner to get back to their routines in a more timely manner.

Recognizing that customers' time is valuable, Kinas Excavating arrives on schedule or makes a courtesy phone call explaining why they are delayed while trying to accommodate the customer's time line to the best of their ability.

A family-run business, committed to quality workmanship and flawless execution, Kinas Excavating treats each and every job as if it were being completed in their back yard and take pride in everything they do.
