J.B. Express, Inc. was founded in 1996 by Jon Bell. His son Josh Bell started working for the company full time in 2000. J.B. Express has worked in all segments of the transportation industry. Partnering with over 10,000 U.S. and Canadian carriers and collaborated on thousands of projects with various difficulty, size, material, and method of transport. J.B Express is also backed by our sister company, Bell Logistics Co., which is an in house asset based transportation company.

J.B. Express and Bell Logistics together move over 20,000 loads per year and this number is increasing substantially every year. We handle a variety of different cargo types but our core competency is hauling materials to support all levels of pipeline and compressor station construction. Our fleet of flatbeds and our partner carriers haul thousands of miles of pipe every year and it is all managed from our project and load planning center in Chillicothe, OH.

J.B. Express also provides large scale line pipe transportation services. We work with multiple different stevedoring companies in the U.S. and Canada. We are well equipped to handle any type of project you may have. We have safely delivered thousands of loads of pipe and steel plate to their final destinations and we have done so with little to no cargo damage and our projects are always completed on time. Safety is very important to us and we take it very seriously. All of our drivers are fully equipped with proper PPE Gear which is often a requirement for our customers. Our partner carriers are fully screened to be sure they have a solid safety record and their CSA scores are checked monthly for any changes in their safety records. We also take every precaution possible to prevent cargo damage to our freight. All pipe transported by us is properly chocked and we use padded pipe stakes to assist in the offloading process. Nylon strapping is utilized for pipe securement and we often “belly wrap” the pipe depending on the load configuration.
