History
Ball Metalpack's Milwaukee facility produces two-piece metal food cans. It began operations in 1974 as a beverage can plant for the Miller Brewing Can Division. In 1993, the can division was sold to Reynolds Metals Company and Ball acquired it in August of 1998. The beverage lines were modernized in 1986 with two high-speed lines. A major expansion was completed in 2003, which added 225,000 square feet to the building for a warehouse and a two-piece food can line. In September, 2018, our plant became part of Ball Metalpack.
