AG Architecture is a firm that has been built on the knowledge and reputation of its people. The roots of our firm date back to 1961 when preceding generations were focused on designing places where people live – innovative multifamily housing, skilled nursing environments and large-scale plan developments.

In 1969, Life Care Services asked us to combine our areas of expertise to design a Friendship Village in the Milwaukee area. From this simple start, we have spent almost 50 years focused on the senior living industry. During that time, the industry has evolved and we have played an integral part in that evolution. From the emergence of assisted living to person-centered long-term care to amenities that rival the finest hospitality providers, today’s modern senior living community is a combination of housing, healthcare, and hospitality. The AG Team continues its legacy of building communities within communities, creating memorable experiences in senior living and envisioning innovative multifamily and mixed-use environments.

Generations of leaders have grown up in our firm, and today our leadership team is expanding with professionals who have been with us for multiple decades. And just as Gene Guszkowski started as a print boy, we are proud to watch numerous interns transition into full-time AG employees. It is even quite common to find those who have left the firm to return again one day. Why? Because there is something different about us and that special something is communicated in the firm’s tagline – A Sense of Community. From the office culture and collaborations with colleagues to our work close to home and around the country, there is a camaraderie and community spirit in all that we do. There is a family dynamic that is a driving force behind our process and the communities we serve.
