Ryan Brothers Ambulance strives to provide the highest quality, pre-hospital patient care with skill, professionalism and compassion.  This is achieved by placing our patients' needs first and treating every patient as if they were a member of our own family.

Madison's oldest ambulance service, Ryan Brothers Ambulance, was founded in 1962 by brothers Pat? (Left) and Paul Ryan (Right).  At the time, there was no 911 system and the fire department did not operate ambulances.  Through the years, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), as well as Ryan Brothers Ambulance, has changed and evolved.  Find out more at www.ryanbros.net.

Life at RBA

Being in the health care field, our most important and valuable asset is our staff.  This starts from admin and dispatch to our EMT's and nurses in the field.  As a family-owned company, we’ve been able to maintain a team-oriented atmosphere with personal attention to every detail on matters we encounter daily.

All supervisory staff continue to serve as field providers and/or dispatchers in order to maintain a realistic perspective and remain in touch with the needs of the field staff.  Management’s open door policy allows for quality, safety and training issues to be addressed directly and immediately in a non-intimidating fashion.

Our staff utilizes well maintained equipment such as the Phillips Heartstart MRx with capnography and NIBP, IVAC 3 channel IV Pumps, Lenovo Thinkpads, Motorola portable radios, and Sprint Direct Connect Cellphones. We also operate under progressive statewide protocols with local onsite medical direction.
