Schedule Details/Additional Information:
Overnight 5 8-hour shifts

Accountabilities:
  • Performance of electroencephalographic (routine, video, and portable) and evoked potential recordings.
  • Performance of standard calibrations, montages, and modified montages for quality recordings.
  • Performance of record archiving.
  • Maintenance of departmental documentation.
  • Maintenance of EEG lab/supplies.
  • Professional /Personal Growth Activities.

Position Requirements:

  • High school education
  • 6 months~1year formal EEG/EP training or 1~2 year EEG/EP experience
  • This position will need to recognize the need and behaviors of a variety of age groups treated, i.e. understanding child growth and development, normal patterns of adolescent behavior and look for signs of normal aging prior experience with various age groups is preferred.
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with computers
  • CPR Certification Ability to stand for length of time.
  • Ability to bend and/or kneel for a length of time.
  • Ability to move equipment to do portable procedures.
  • Ability to meet flexible staffing needs.
  • Ability to do light, medium, and heavy lifting.
  • May be exposed to life threatening diseases.
  • If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case~by~case basis.
